Almost every company runs systems nobody in IT ever chose. A department needed a quick solution, someone built it, it worked. Two years later half the sales team depends on it, the data sits on a server in the US, and nobody knows how to get out again.

That is where I come in. I round up this shadow IT and bring the data back onto European systems. The move itself is the easy part. The hard part is proving that everything is still there afterwards. That is why every data migration to the EU comes with an acceptance report: on my last project, a verification program with 59 individual checks, read-only, with record counts before and after. It failed my own migration on the first run, and it was right.

Then it gets interesting. Whoever migrates a company ends up knowing every process in it. On that foundation I build automation and AI agents that pay off, instead of just sounding like a good idea. The entry point is a data and process audit of two to three days. After that you know which tools run in your departments, where the data really lives and which workflows are worth automating first.

What I am not: a data protection officer or a lawyer. I do the technology and the proof, the legal assessment belongs to your DPO. This works best for companies between 50 and 500 employees. Big enough that real problems have piled up. Small enough that decisions still happen in one room.
